Commitment, Challenge and Opportunity

The Company has established a pollution management policy covering air quality, noise, and vibration generated from construction activities. The Company is committed to minimizing and preventing adverse impacts on surrounding communities through regular monitoring and assessment to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Environmental control systems are continuously enhanced to strengthen environmental performance and maintain stakeholder confidence.

Nevertheless, managing air quality, noise, and vibration at construction sites remains challenging due to changing site conditions, technological limitations, the need for continuous investment in monitoring and mitigation equipment, and increasing stakeholder and investor expectations regarding environmental performance and disclosure standards. In response, the Company continues to strengthen its control measures and improve its environmental management practices to effectively address these challenges.

The Company also recognizes that enhancing pollution management standards presents an opportunity to reduce environmental risks, reinforce its reputation as a socially responsible organization, and differentiate its developments through environmentally responsible and sustainable construction practices. These efforts contribute to the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the Company’s real estate projects.

Management and Operational Approach

The Company conducts Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies for all projects in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Minimum green space requirements are established for each project in accordance with EIA commitments, and performance is regularly monitored to promote biodiversity conservation within surrounding areas. In several projects, the Company has exceeded the minimum green space requirements to further enhance environmental quality and the well-being of residents.

The Company has established a Biodiversity Policy as a framework for systematic biodiversity management. Key measures include sourcing construction materials from legally compliant suppliers to help ensure that the Company’s supply chain does not contribute to biodiversity loss and to support greenhouse gas emissions reduction. The Company also maintains a commitment not to undertake development activities within protected areas classified under IUCN Categories I–IV, thereby safeguarding ecologically sensitive habitats and ecosystems.

In addition, the Company promotes biodiversity awareness among employees and stakeholders, encouraging active participation in biodiversity-related initiatives and conservation activities. Information regarding ecosystem management and biodiversity performance is disclosed transparently to stakeholders. The Company also provides grievance and whistleblowing channels for communities and the public to report concerns relating to activities that may adversely affect ecosystems or biodiversity. All reports are reviewed and addressed in accordance with the Company’s established procedures.
