Goal and Performance Highlights
Goal

Performance 2024

Commitment, Challenge and Opportunity
The Company places strong emphasis on managing air quality, noise, and vibration both within construction sites and in surrounding communities. Regular monitoring and assessment are conducted to ensure compliance with established standards, while continuous improvements to environmental control systems are implemented. These efforts aim to ensure legal compliance and strengthen stakeholder confidence in the Company’s operations.
Air and noise quality control at construction sites continues to face challenges arising from ever-changing environmental conditions, limitations of available technologies and the high costs of equipment, as well as increasing expectations from communities and stakeholders. In response, the Company must implement stringent measures and continuously improve its management practices.
Enhancing air and noise quality management standards not only mitigates environmental risks but also represents a key opportunity to strengthen the Company’s reputation for social responsibility, build greater stakeholder confidence, and create a competitive advantage in developing environmentally friendly real estate projects.
Management and Operational Approach
Management Approach
- Monitoring and Measurement
- Measure air quality indicators, including Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), PM10, PM2.5, NO2, and SO2.
- Monitor noise and vibration levels to ensure compliance with standards.
- Incorporate monitoring results into the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Monitoring Report.
- Control and Prevention Measures
- Implement dust suppression measures such as water spraying and covering materials with canvas.
- Schedule and manage construction activities appropriately to minimize noise disturbance.
- Install temporary noise barriers around noise-generating sources.
- Apply technologies and equipment designed to reduce vibration impacts.
- Machinery and Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure machinery remains in good condition.
- Install covers and noise reduction devices at noise-generating points.
- Avoid the use of deteriorated machinery or equipment.
- Continuous Improvement
- Utilize monitoring results to improve control measures.
- Research and apply new technologies for air, noise, and vibration control.
Guidelines for Employees and On-Site Workers
- Employees and workers must properly dispose of materials or waste in the construction area to reduce dust dispersion.
- Strictly comply with the prescribed measures for controlling dust, noise, and vibration.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as dust masks or earplugs, when working in high-risk areas.
- Cooperate with environmental quality monitoring and inspections conducted by the company or relevant authorities.
- Prepare and report abnormal incidents, such as excessive dust, noise, or vibration, to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in environmental awareness campaigns and related training programs.
