Restoring Water Resources and Creating Community Balance

Environmental

The Company has partnered with the Koh Mak Conservation Community in Phatthalung Province to restore aquatic ecosystems through four key activities:

  • Learning the coastal way of life - Participants experienced the traditional fishing practices of local communities by trying fish and shrimp traps, gaining firsthand insights into a lifestyle that lives in harmony with nature.
  • Creating aquatic nurseries in Songkhla Lake - Using La Pho trees to expand breeding and nursery ponds, the project aims to establish sustainable aquatic breeding grounds that benefit local communities.
  • Releasing 2 million shrimp larvae - This activity helps replenish aquatic populations and promotes ecological balance within local water resources.
  • Supporting the establishment of a Community Fish Bank and Demonstration Center - The Company provided financial support for constructing the facilities, incorporating recycled materials in building decorations, crafting signage from reclaimed wood, and landscaping with tree planting to create sustainable, multi-purpose community spaces.

This initiative is also supported by “Noble FIT FOR LIFE 2024,” which transforms the energy generated by employees and participants during exercise into a driving force for environmental and community development.

Through this collaboration, the project not only restores aquatic ecosystems but also supports local fisheries, stimulates the regional economy through tourism and trade, and enhances the community’s environment and shared spaces sustainably. Noble extends its sincere appreciation to all partners and participants for their contributions in creating a positive impact on the environment and society because a thriving natural ecosystem is the foundation of a truly sustainable community.
